CABOT GUARANTEE
If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, we will replace or refund it; whichever you prefer.
Available shipping/arrival dates are based on optimal days in transit (see Shipping Info below) and must be adhered to. Deliveries outside the U.S. are not guaranteed. On rare occasions, weather extremes may require us to hold your order briefly in order to ensure its delivery in optimal condition. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at the 800 number or email address above.
Please note that UPS does not guarantee on-time delivery of packages shipped via UPS Ground between 12/11 and 12/24/09, and weather extremes may delay delivery via any shipping method. While we will do our best to have your package arrive on time, we therefore cannot guarantee on-time delivery.
SHIPPING INFO
Determination of the soonest date your order will ship -- as well as dates in the future you may pick to have your package arrive -- is based on UPS' estimated number of days in transit, and avoidance of weekends whenever possible. Weekends add 2 days to the estimated transit time because packages are held in storage at UPS depots for those two days. Because of the perishable nature of cheese, we try to avoid this whenever possible. When weekends cannot be avoided -- such as for 5-6 business day Ground service to California -- ship dates target the over-weekend UPS storage in the earlier part of the transit time because temperatures in UPS's northern depots are normally cooler. Your satisfaction upon delivery is 100% guaranteed (see Guarantee above)
Upgrading to Second-Day or Overnight service gives you more date options, if needed.
Summer Shipping - During the summer months (May - Sept), the warm temperatures require us to ship cheese orders to arrive in no more than 2 days. This affects states west and south of PA, WV, & VA.
HIGH heat - during periods of high heat (80+ degrees) orders will be held until the temperature recedes. Please call 1-800-639-3198 if you have any questions.
Winter Shipping - Please note that UPS does not guarantee on-time delivery of packages shipped via UPS Ground between 12/11 and 12/24/09, and weather extremes may delay delivery via any shipping method. While we will do our best to have your package arrive on time, we therefore cannot guarantee on-time delivery.
Shipping rates - Packages to the lower 48 states ship via UPS. To be more accurate and fair than one fixed charge for delivery to any state, your shipping charge is based on UPS posted residential delivery rates to your actual shipping address, less 10%, our discount which we pass on to you.

Packages to:
- HI, AK, PR must ship via Priority Mail from the US Post Office.
- Canada ship via Priority Mail International and cannot be guaranteed due to unpredictable international delivery times.
- APO & FPO addresses cannot be guaranteed because we have no control over how long it takes the military to deliver your package.
Order status - An order confirmation email will be sent to you when you place your order. Later, a shipping confirmation email will be sent to you. For UPS shipments, a tracking number will be included in the confirmation. Please feel free to contact us by phone or email (see above) if you have a question.

HELP WITH ENTERING YOUR ORDER
Option #1 - If you have started an order and need help between 8AM and 9PM EST, Monday - Friday, please call 800-639-3198 for assistance.
Option #2 - At other times, you may save your order in its incomplete state by setting up a My Account* and choosing the Save Cart option. Email your question to catalog@cabotcheese.com.
*Setting up a My Account requires only a password and user name of your choosing, and the billing address for your order. To set one up, click on My Account on the top bar of this page. You may retrieve your unfinished order later and finish it after your question has been answered.
Option #3 - Or you may print out your shopping cart and fax or mail it to us. In this case, we will re-enter the order for you, and make the changes/additions you request.

SAVED SHOPPING CART
You may save your shopping cart and return to it later to complete it, or save a copy as backup while you are working on a large order, once you log on to My Account. It is simple to set up and has several significant benefits for you (see next subject).
To retrieve your saved cart, once you are logged on to your My Account, click on SAVE CART at the top of the page and choose the RETRIEVE CART option.
Saving your shopping cart will overwrite any cart you saved earlier. Retrieving your shopping cart will replace any cart you may be working on currently.

My Account
If you have set up a My Account already, your order history is on file there, and you may use it as a starting point for this year's gift giving. You can copy a previous order and make whatever changes you'd like. Or use your address book to start a whole new order. The My Account button is on the top of each page in this shopping site.
If you do not have a My Account now, there's no extra work involved once you choose a User Name and Password. Your billing address -- the same one you use for your order -- is required. You may use this password-protected information to review the order later, or as a basis for a new order next week or next year.
And there is the added convenience of being able to save your cart before you are done shopping so you may return to it later. The Save Cart function may also be used to back up your order while you are working on it.

PRIVACY & SECURITY
Cabot Creamery Cooperative is committed to protecting your right to privacy. Cabot Creamery does not sell or rent any of your personal information to any other company. We do collect information from our customers to enable us to process orders, provide quality customer service, and to continue to provide award winning products.
In order to process an order we need your name, phone number, billing address, shipping address, credit card information, e-mail address and phone number. The last two are for purposes of verification in cases of an incorrect address, or suspected fraud. This information is collected in a secured environment and is protected against unauthorized access.
"Cookies" are pieces of information sent by a company that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive, usually to facilitate future interaction. Cabot uses a non-persistent cookie which lets us maintain custom settings and items in your shopping cart while you browse but does not reference it with any personal identifier.
Cabot Creamery encourages parental guidance for children of all ages on the World Wide Web. Children must be at least 14 years of age to enter our sweepstakes, and to submit orders.

HOW TO REDEEM A GIFT CERTIFICATE
After you have finished shopping, check out as normal. On the Payment Information page during check out, you will see a Gift Certificate section before the credit card information section. Fill in your gift certificate number and password in the Gift Certificate box and click "Add".
Your Shopping Cart total automatically will update with the Gift Certificate amount applied.

HOW TO USE A PROMOTION CODE
If you have received a Promotion Code, be sure to enter it in the space provided in the upper left corner of the shopping cart once you have started to shop, or on the Payment Information page when you check out. Then click the ADD button before proceeding. You may view the shopping cart by clicking on "View Shopping Cart" on the top bar of any page in the shopping site.
